This D'Armes St. Etienne MLE 1879 revolver is an authentic piece of French military history dating to the late black powder era. Chambered in 11mm French Service and featuring a 4.5-inch barrel with a dark bore, this revolver remains in poor condition but retains considerable historical significance. Produced during a period when European militaries were rapidly transitioning to cartridge-firing sidearms, the MLE 1879 served French military personnel during an important era of firearms development.
