Description from HiBid
This D'Armes St. Etienne MLE 1879 revolver is an authentic piece of French military history dating to the late black powder era. Chambered in 11mm French Service and featuring a 4.5-inch barrel with a dark bore, this revolver remains in poor condition but retains considerable historical significance. Produced during a period when European militaries were rapidly transitioning to cartridge-firing sidearms, the MLE 1879 served French military personnel during an important era of firearms development. Please note that the cylinder is not present, making this revolver best suited as a display piece, collector's artifact, or restoration project. Despite the missing component, the revolver retains its military profile and historic character. As an antique firearm, no FFL is required for transfer. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a genuine French military revolver from the late 19th century. Please see photos. D'Armes St. Etienne MLE 1879 French Service 11mm 4.5 Dark H9238 Poor
