Muzzleloading Rifle .50 Caliber with 28 Inch Barrel. This CVA Kodiak Magnum is a .50 caliber in-line muzzleloading rifle designed for modern black powder hunting applications. It features a 28-inch barrel with a matte silver finish and a 1:28 twist rate, optimized for sabot-style projectiles. The rifle is built with a durable black synthetic stock that incorporates a textured grip on the forend and wrist, a raised cheekpiece, and a ventilated rubber recoil pad. Mounted on the receiver is a Bushnell Banner variable power scope secured by two-piece rings. The rifle includes an under-barrel ramrod and is equipped with a black padded nylon sling attached to swivel studs. Key markings on the left side of the barrel include BPI—CONNECTICUT VALLEY ARMS KODIAK MAGNUM, MADE IN SPAIN, Black Powder Only .50 Cal. 1:28 TWIST, along with Spanish proof marks and the serial number 61-13-208508-04. This item is either black powder or manufactured in or before 1898 (and does not take readily available ammunition), and thus does not require an FFL or background check.
