R Serial # 9332GS. .22 LR caliber single action revolver with a 6” barrel. The bore is excellent. Made in 1969 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the completion of the Intercontinental Railway in 1869. The barrel is marked to indicate this. The blued metal finish on the barrel is in excellent condition showing little wear. The gold toned finish on the fluted cylinder is in excellent condition as well showing little wear with some light marks. The black finish on the alloy frame and grip frame is in excellent condition showing little to no wear. Gold toned trigger, hammer, loading gate, cylinder pin, screws and ejector rod housing. The plastic faux wood grips with a gold Colt medallion are in excellent condition showing little to no wear. The action works fine. Includes a felt lined wood presentation case with a golden spike. A total of 11000 made in 1969. C&R.
