Colt Frontier Six-Shooter serial # 57066 First Generation, 4 ¾” barrel, referred to as a “Civilian or Gunfighter” model, manufactured in 1880 as per serial number. Alleged to have been owned by “Phineas Fay “Phin” Clanton” eldest brother of the infamous Clanton Gang “The Cowboys” of the “OK CORRAL” fight in which he did not participate. Examined by High Caliber History’s Logan Metesh. In its original patina, this revolver had a blued finish 10% left, the wood finish is 60%. Mechanics : Good, Timing/Lockup: Indexing is good, small amount of movement. Bore: Dark with signs of rifling present. Includes a brown leather holster and gun belt. Please see photos.
