Cross Personal Gear and Knitwear. This assortment contains various military-issue and auxiliary personal items dating from World War II through the Cold War era. The group includes a pair of US Army cotton boxer-style drawers with a black ink stamp on the interior waistband reading GOODENOW TEXTILES CO. DATED 12-13-43 P.O. NO. 535 U.S. ARMY SPEC. 6-185B 55-D-404 with a size 36 designation. Also present is a dark olive drab knit wool V-neck sweater featuring ribbed cuffs and waistband and an illegible frayed white cloth tag at the neck.
