This Birmingham Small Arms-produced SHTLE 1907, later redesignated as the Rifle No. 1 Mk III, is one of the most recognizable military rifles of the early 20th century. Chambered in .303 British and featuring a 24.5-inch barrel with a shiny bore, this rifle remains in good condition with normal wear consistent with age and military service. The rifle retains its military wood furniture, detachable magazine, and the smooth-operating Lee-Enfield action that earned widespread praise from soldiers around the world. Included is one magazine. Produced by BSA, one of Britain's premier military contractors, this rifle reflects the craftsmanship and durability that helped the British Empire field one of the most effective infantry rifles of World War I.
