Its antlers are gilded, scroll and spot patterns are outlined by gold and silver wire inlay, the body is dotted with turquoise inlay, and a red agate adorns its forehead, with elegant flowing patterns and a gentle vivid posture. In pre-Qin culture, deer symbolize fortune and longevity. Luxurious metal and gem inlay craft was exclusive to nobles. This artifact served as a paper or mat press for aristocratic studies and feasts, perfectly demonstrating Warring States three-dimensional bronze casting and composite inlay techniques.
