This British Lee-Enfield No.5 Mk I Jungle Carbine is one of the most distinctive and collectible variants of the Lee-Enfield family. Chambered in .303 British and featuring a 21-inch barrel with a shiny bore, this rifle remains in good condition and retains all matching serial numbers. Included are one magazine and a military sling. Developed during World War II for use in jungle environments, the No.5 Mk I featured a shortened barrel, lightened receiver, and flash hider to improve portability in difficult terrain. These modifications created one of the most recognizable military carbines ever produced. Matching-number examples continue to attract significant collector interest due to their wartime heritage and unique appearance.
