Ejector Model No. 3, 12 gauge, SN: 161326, shotgun, 28" brls, box lock break action, very good condition. This AYA shotgun was manufactured between 1960 and 1965 having ejectors which is uncommon for a No. 3. It is fitted with an Anson style release on the walnut checkered forend and a straight grip English style walnut butt stock with wrap around checkering on the wrist. It has a blank monogram plate inletted on the underside of the butt stock and a red rubber recoil pad with an L.O.P. of 15.5 inches. The wood shows a few smaller handling marks and the receiver retains more than 80% of the case coloring while being engraved with scroll, florette and borderline engraving. The blued barrels are fitted with a concave solid rib having a single brass bead sight and border engraving at the breech. Choked modified and improved cylinder both bores shine mirror bright with only the very lightest of surface scratching present in a few areas. A touch of thinning is present at the muzzle with very little handling wear present. There is an import mark under the forend on the barrels for MMBI Myersville MD. The tang mounted safety is checkered and there is a gold inletted "S" for safe present with the break action lever being in the center when closed and tight lock up. There is a very tiny loss chip at the tip of the tang on the wood and the blued trigger guard is engraved showing some light thinning to the bluing at the very edges.
