Candy Dish in Amber. A mid-century modern art glass lidded candy dish attributed to Viking Glass, specifically the Epic Bird pattern, model number 3112. This two-piece set is crafted from hand-blown, transparent amber glass. The design consists of a low-profile, rounded bowl base and a matching lid. The lid is accented with a stylized bird finial featuring an elongated, curved tail. There are no etched manufacturer marks or labels. A handwritten note on white tape is adhered to the underside of the base which reads: Candy dish - given to us from college room mate, Marie & Don Birkhimer - Marie died of cancer in 2002.
