Description from HiBid
This Japanese Type 99 Arisaka chambered in 7.7x58mm offers an opportunity to own one of the strongest military bolt-action actions ever produced. Featuring a 21-inch barrel with a shiny bore and good overall condition, this example was manufactured at the famed Nagoya Arsenal and has been sporterized for civilian use. Most notably, the Imperial chrysanthemum remains intact on the receiver, a highly desirable feature often absent on surviving Japanese military rifles. Although modified from its original military configuration, the rifle still retains significant historical appeal due to its wartime origins and intact crest. The Type 99 earned a reputation for exceptional strength and reliability, making it one of the most respected military actions of the Second World War. Collectors and shooters alike continue to appreciate these rifles for their history and robust construction. Please see photos. Arisaka Type 99 7.7x58mm Bolt 21 Shiny 22047 Good
