Description from HiBid
This Japanese Type 38 Long Rifle chambered in 6.5x50mm Japanese is a classic military firearm that served Imperial Japan for decades. Featuring a 31-inch barrel with a shiny bore and fair overall condition, this example was manufactured at the famed Tokyo Arsenal and retains much of its military character. Some surface rust is present, adding evidence of the rifle's long history and service. Please note that the magazine and trigger guard assembly are missing. Even with those missing components, the rifle remains an attractive restoration candidate or collector piece due to its historical significance and connection to Japan's military history. The Type 38 earned a reputation for reliability, accuracy, and rugged construction, helping establish the Arisaka name among the most respected military rifles of its era. Please see photos.
