An exceptionally rare Japanese military firearm, this Arisaka Type 2 Paratrooper rifle is one of the most sought-after variants produced during World War II. Chambered in 7.7x58mm Japanese and fitted with a 24-inch barrel and shiny bore, this rifle remains in good condition and retains matching serial numbers throughout. Designed specifically for airborne troops, the Type 2 features a unique takedown system allowing the rifle to separate into two sections for transport during parachute operations. This example includes its original cleaning rod, an often-missing accessory. Although the chrysanthemum has been removed, the rifle remains an outstanding collector piece due to the rarity of the model itself.
