Description from HiBid
and Glass Advertising Display Case. This is a vintage commercial retail showcase produced for the Parker Pen Company, dating to the early 20th century. The unit is constructed with a vertical glass display cabinet mounted on a tall wooden base with four square legs. The wood appears to be a dark-stained hardwood. The front glass panel features etched or sandblasted branding for the company. The text includes the large letters PARKER, with the smaller words LUCKY CURVE integrated into the upper loop of the letter R. Centered below is an oval containing the text SAFETY-SEALED, with the words FOUNTAIN PEN appearing at the bottom of the graphic. This specific branding refers to Parker's patented ink feed and cap innovations used between approximately 1910 and the late 1920s. The showcase features a flat glass top and a wood-framed glass structure.
