The collection represents various chronological periods including the Archaic, Woodland, and Mississippian. Lithic materials utilized consist of variegated cherts, flint, quartz, quartzite, and jasper. Construction methods include percussion and pressure flaking for the bifacial tools, while the larger utilitarian objects show evidence of pecking and grinding. The lot includes a group of projectile points ranging from small bird points to larger dart and spear forms with diverse base styles such as notched, stemmed, and lanceolate. Several large stones function as hammerstones or grinding tools, displaying smooth polished surfaces and characteristic percussion marks.
