This collection comprises an assortment of North American indigenous stone tools and debitage, primarily featuring projectile points, bifaces, and ground stone implements. The materials include a diverse range of lithic sources such as multicolored cherts, flints, jaspers, rhyolite, and slate. The artifacts demonstrate various manufacturing techniques, including percussion and pressure flaking characteristic of lithic reduction, as well as grinding and polishing on several specimens. Notable typologies present within the group include side-notched, corner-notched, stemmed, and lanceolate forms, suggesting a temporal range spanning the Archaic through Woodland periods. A grey ground stone tool bears a small circular adhesive label marked $2. A tan projectile point in the collection features an old ink inscription, which appears to read Franklin Co, likely denoting the original find location. The collection also includes a rectangular slate fragment with a drilled hole, consistent with a gorget or pendant form, several rounded hammerstones or grinding stones, and a fragment of a larger pecked and ground tool.<br>Largest bifaces measure approximately 5 to 6 inches in length.
