Century Photographs and Ephemera Including Work by H. Buehman and S.J. Myre. This lot comprises an assortment of late 19th to early 20th-century photographs and ephemera, representing several distinct photographic processes and subjects. The group includes an albumen cabinet card of a saguaro cactus, bearing the printed mark of H. Buehman and Co. at the bottom left and TUCSON, A. T. (Arizona Territory) at the bottom right. The center margin contains the handwritten pencil notation 87, likely indicating the year 1887. Also included is a captioned cabinet card portrait reading MR. and MRS. GROVER CLEVELAND, depicting the former US President and his wife, likely produced as a commemorative souvenir. A 1/6th plate tintype shows two seated men in hats and vests; the iron plate features a clipped upper-right corner. A silver gelatin photograph captures the interior of a grocery store, titled in the upper margin as S.J. Myre's 28 Locust Glooster O (Glooster, Ohio), showing two proprietors behind the counter with various period goods and signage. Completing the lot is a cabinet card portrait of a baby dressed in formal winter attire, including a heavy coat and hat.
