Style Replicas and Craft Materials. An assortment of contemporary replicas and hobbyist craft supplies in the style of North American indigenous material culture, primarily dating to the late 20th century. The collection features frame drums, including a larger example with a rawhide membrane lashed over a bentwood frame and a smaller example with a bark frame and feather decorations. Edged weapons and tools include a stone-headed war club with a grooved river stone lashed to a natural wood handle, a knife with a knapped obsidian-style blade set into a bone handle with a crossguard, and a knife with a knapped white chert-style blade set into a wood handle featuring an incised grid pattern. Also included are carved stone pipe bowls, such as a black bird effigy pipe, a large red catlinite-style T-shaped bowl with textured details, a red stone elbow pipe, and a green stone flared pipe bowl. Primitive tools are represented by a wooden pump drill with leather cordage and a metal fire-starting kit in a tin labeled How to Make Fire With This Kit by Campcraft Products Co. Ohio. The collection is rounded out by commercial sewing and craft notions, such as upholstery nails, carpet tacks, and buttons in original retail packaging, alongside embroidery floss, ribbon, and a section of floral jacquard fabric.
