1904 75th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Reunion and World War I Veterans. This lot consists of original black and white photographs documenting American military veterans from the Civil War and World War I eras. The first item is a mounted photograph depicting a group of Union Army veterans from the 75th Ohio Volunteer Infantry (O.V.I.) gathered in front of a clapboard building. The subjects are shown with a central banner that reads BATTLE FLAGS 75th O. V. I. and furled flags. Several men wear Grand Army of the Republic (G.A.R.) medals on their suit lapels. The bottom left corner of the print is marked Huffman 1904. The reverse of the mount features a handwritten pencil inscription identifying one subject: Andrew Jackson - Grandfather of Andrew Jasper Jackson Behind flag. (Bald Headed man). The second item is an unmounted photograph print depicting a group of men standing in a field around a vertically positioned United States flag. Several individuals wear military-style overseas caps common to World War I uniforms or veteran organizations like the American Legion. The reverse is inscribed in pencil 1st WORLD WAR VETERANS.
