Glaze Vase. This early 20th-century American art pottery vase is constructed of earthenware and features a high-gloss standard glaze. The exterior displays a shaded gradient transitioning from a dark chocolate brown at the top to a mustard yellow at the base, with the yellow glaze continuing into the interior. The front is decorated with a hand-painted underglaze floral motif depicting An orange-red flower with green leaves and a long, thorny stem. The vessel form consists of a bulbous, rounded shoulder tapering into a slender neck before flaring out to a wide, circular base, accented by two integral handles arching from the shoulder and rejoining the neck. This decorative style and shape are consistent with standard glaze lines produced by Ohio manufacturers such as Weller, Owens, Roseville, and Rookwood. No maker marks or factory stamps are visible on the base. A small circular hole is located in the center of the base.<br>Height: Approximately 11.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
