The whole body is covered with luminous peacock?blue glaze of vivid saturated tone with smooth fine surface. The exterior is incised with dragon?and?cloud pattern: a powerful dragon winds among floating clouds, executed with skilled carving technique, the motif subtly visible beneath the coloured glaze, delivering restrained refined aesthetic. White?glazed base bears underglaze?blue six?character seal mark ??Da?Qing Qian?Long Nian?Zhi??.
