Moorcroft, Hibiscus Pattern Pitcher and Vase. A pair of glazed earthenware art pottery items, attributed to Moorcroft in the Hibiscus pattern. Both pieces feature a high-gloss gradient glaze transitioning from a deep forest green at the rim to a pale sage or cream-colored base. The decoration consists of hand-painted floral motifs in the Hibiscus pattern, characterized by vibrant red petals and green foliage. The pitcher is a tall, cylindrical form with a flared base, integral handle, and pinched spout. The vase is a squat, bulbous form with a short, wide neck. The base of the pitcher is impressed with the number 482, and the vase features a faint, illegible impressed mark. Pitcher: 13 inches tall. Vase: 6 inches tall. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, April 30 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
