Commemorative Medals with Certificate of Authenticity 999 silver 1 Troy oz. This set consists of two commemorative medals issued to honor Johnny Bench's 1989 induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame. One medal is struck in one troy ounce of .999 fine silver and features a portrait of Bench in a Cincinnati Reds cap. Inscriptions on this medal include JOHNNY BENCH, NO. 5 CINCINNATI REDS 1967-1983, and ONE TROY OZ. .999 FINE SILVER © MLBP along the upper rim. The second medal has a gold-toned appearance and depicts Bench in his catcher's gear, with inscriptions JOHNNY BENCH and INDUCTED BASEBALL HALL OF FAME 1989. Both items are housed in clear plastic protective capsules. The set is accompanied by a paper Certificate of Authenticity from American R.C.S. Group Inc., dated 1989, stating that the medals are authorized by Johnny Bench. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
