Height:9cm (3.54in) , Diameter:49.8cm (19.61in) A large wide?mouthed shallow dish of imposing dimension. The central medallion depicts garden scene with pine, bamboo and plantain, portraying scholars engaged in qin?playing, go?gaming, reading and painting. The inner wall is fully decorated with continuous grand gathering of literati, scholars playing instruments, unrolling scrolls and debating, interspersed with pavilions, cloud scrolls and foliage. The cobalt?blue presents soft elegant tone with subtle gradations. Fine rendering of figure robes, rocks and plants, densely arranged yet well?balanced composition. Six?character ??Da Ming Cheng Hua Nian Zhi?? mark is painted on outer rim. The glaze is smooth and milky white. Qin?Qi?Shu?Hua represent four refined accomplishments of ancient literati.
