Art Pottery. A collection of American art pottery manufactured by Weller Pottery in the Bonito pattern, produced circa the 1930s. This assortment of florist-ware is constructed from earthenware and features hand-painted floral motifs on a cream-colored matte ground with contrasting green-glazed interiors. The forms included are an ovoid vase with blue and purple flowers, a tapered vase with tulips, a tall handled urn, a large footed bowl with a leaf border, a double-handled bulbous vase, a tapered thistle vase, and three smaller pots and vases decorated with daisies and bellflowers. Decorative painted bands in blue, orange, and green accent the rims and bases. Most pieces are marked on the base with an incised script reading Weller Pottery or Weller Pottery USA.
