Training Hand Grenades. This collection consists of six inert US military-style hand grenades representing three distinct historical patterns. The group includes three Mk 2 fragmentation grenades, one M26 grenade, and two M67 grenades. These items are constructed with cast-iron bodies and are fitted with training or dummy fuze assemblies, including safety levers and pull rings. The bodies are finished in olive drab paint with a yellow band at the neck. Each specimen has been rendered permanently inert by a hole drilled through the base of the casting. One Mk 2 pattern grenade displays raised cast markings A, 7, S, and 5 on the body segments. One M67 pattern grenade features a cast number 3 at the base, while the other M67 pattern displays a cast number 5. We do our best to describe all items in the sale, and we definitely take a ton of photos. But, we are not able to guarantee authenticity or era of items in the sale.
