Glassware Including Westmoreland and Hand-Painted Baskets. This lot features a group of pieces of decorative American glassware including various baskets and a souvenir mug. The collection includes a frosted yellow-to-amber Westmoreland satin glass basket with a tall twisted handle, a ruffled rim, and hand-painted white daisies. This piece retains its original gold foil label reading Westmoreland Authentic Handmade Glass. Also included is a large white milk glass basket with a deep ruffled rim and hand-painted blue rose clusters, hand-inscribed on the base Hand Painted By A. Farley. A clear amber-colored glass basket features a spiral optic pattern and a heavily crimped, ruffled rim. There are two pressed glass baskets in a basket-weave pattern, one with a metallic marigold iridescent finish and the other in transparent blue. A pair of small glass baskets, a blue and a colorless, feature feathered leaf-textured handles. The final item is a white milk glass souvenir mug for Athens, Ohio, decorated with hand-painted pink flowers, an embossed band at the base, and a molded starburst pattern on the bottom.
