47 Remington-UMC .32 S&W Long Black Powder Ammo

This lot consists of 47 individual .32 S. & W. Long central fire cartridges manufactured by the Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co., contained within their original two-piece cardboard box. The cartridges are loaded with 98-grain lead round-nose bullets and feature brass cases with copper-colored primers. The green paper box label displays the Remington UMC logo within a red circle and includes the text 32 S. & W. Long, 50 Central Fire Cartridges, and 98 Grs. Bullet. Additional markings on the top label identify the producer as Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridge Co., Ammunition & Firearms, Union Metallic Cartridge Works, Bridgeport, Conn., U.S.A. Side labels designate the contents as Black Powder and note that they are Specially adapted for .32 Smith & Wesson Hand Ejector and Colt New Police. Cartridge headstamps are transcribed verbatim as REM-UMC on the top arc and .32 S&WL on the bottom. The box underside bears a partial factory guarantee in English and Spanish with a purple ink stamp that appears to read 12 09.
