This auction has a view only time frame from August 10, 2026, starting at 8:00 am, through August 17, 2026, at 11:59 pm. No bidding will occur during this time.
Bid deposits will be accepted from August 10, 2026 through August 21, 2026.
Bidding will be open from August 18, 2026, starting at 11:00 am through August 21, 2026, ending at 2:00 pm (please note: the auction ending time will extend beyond 2:00 pm, known as “auto-extension”, if a bid is placed within the final 3 minutes. The auto-extension will stop adding time when no bids are received for a 3-minute time frame).
To be eligible for bidding, there are three requirements:

(2)Submit a bid deposit. You will find the bid deposit instruction form below under the 'Attachments' section of this auction. If you do not see the link, click on "show more items." All those certain lots or parcels of land, situate in the City of Portsmouth, State of Virginia, and known, numbered and designated as LOTS Numbers Seven (7), Nine (9), Eleven (11), Thirteen (13), Fifteen (15), Seventeen (17), Nineteen (19), Twenty-One (21) and Twenty-three (23) in Block Number Fifteen (15) on the plat of the Livingston Land Company, duly recorded in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, in Map Book 5, page 43, and also on the plat of the Portsmouth Suburban Investment Company, recorded in said Clerk’s Office in Map Book 4, page 94, and bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point on the southern side of King Street ninety (90) feet distant from the western side of Hanover (formerly Crawford) Avenue, and from thence running westerly along the southern side of King Street two hundred seventy (270) feet to the southeastern intersection of King Street and Lancaster (formerly Cassell) Avenue; thence southerly along the western side of Lancaster Avenue and at right angles to King Street one hundred and eight (108) feet, six (6) inches to the center line of the block; thence easterly along the center line of the block and parallel with King Street two hundred seventy (270) feet, and thence northerly and at right angles to King Street, one hundred and eight (108) feet, six (6) inches, to the point of beginning.
It is also the same property previously conveyed to Richard E. Lodge and David L. Lodge, as joint tenants with the right of survivorship, from Jewell E. Rorrer and Ernestine B.
