McHenry County does not mail or ship items. Must call 24 to 48 hours ahead of time to MAKE AN APPOINTMENT for pick up. Pick up must be between 8:30 & 3:30 p.m. The winning bidder will come to 667 Ware Road, Room 207A, Woodstock, IL 60098 to show identification and sign a Bill of Sale. He/she will then be directed to where the item is located for pickup next door. We are not open holidays or weekends/closed September 7.
This auction is for a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox LT Sport Utility 4-door AWD. It starts, runs and is drivable, but the engine needs repair as it knocks. This vehicle will need a major repair/possibly a new engine. Also, the winning bidder should be prepared to provide their own jump if necessary with a jump pack. Jumper cables will not work due to the electronic modules in more modern vehicles. No assistance will be provided.
This vehicle was removed from service April 23, 2026. It was maintained every 3000 miles. The maintenance records are NOT available for inspection. Automatic transmission is operable. AWD is in good condition. Exterior color is gray. No cracked glass. Minor dents, scratches, dings. Tire condition is good. There is rust on both front lower fenders (see pics). It has rusty brakes. There were no decals on this vehicle. There was no emergency equipment on this vehicle. Interior color is gray cloth. Seats have normal wear. Stock AM/FM radio. Air conditioning blows cold. Dual air bags. Cruise Control. Tilt steering. Remote Mirrors. Climate Control. Power steering, windows, door locks & seats.

If using a 3rd-Party Agent: The Buyer must provide the 3rd Party Agent with a copy of the “Buyer’s Certificate”, which must be brought with them to the pick-up. The Buyer must also provide the Seller with authorization via email to release the asset to the Third-Party Agent and provide the name and/or company name in the email. The 3rd Party Agent must show identification upon pick-up & sign the Bill of Sales. Please note that the County of McHenry assumes no responsibility for items that are picked up by 3rd Party Agents.
