Description from HiBid
2005 P Oregon Crater Lake State Quarter Coin
2005 P Oregon Crater Lake State Quarter Uncirculated
This 2005 P Oregon State Quarter features a detailed depiction of Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the United States, viewed from the south-southwest rim. The design includes Wizard Island and the majestic watchman peak, framed by coniferous trees to highlight the natural beauty of the 33rd state. Struck at the Philadelphia Mint, this coin is composed of a copper-nickel clad material and remains in uncirculated condition, preserving the sharp details of the landscape and the portrait of George Washington on the obverse. This piece is a must-have for collectors of the 50 State Quarters Program looking to complete their Philadelphia Mint sets.
2005-P Oregon State Quarter Crater Lake
Condition: This coin appears to be in circulated condition with visible surface wear and minor contact marks consistent with general handling. The luster is somewhat dulled, and the details on the high points of the design, such as the trees and mountain ridges on the reverse and Washington's hair on the obverse, show flattening. It is a business strike type minted at the Philadelphia Mint, as indicated by the P mint mark. The metal content is a standard copper-nickel clad composition. Historically, this coin was released in 2005 as the 33rd installment in the United States Mint's 50 State Quarters Program, featuring a design of Crater Lake National Park. No official grade has been assigned to this specimen.
