2005-P Jefferson Nickel Ocean in View Brilliant Uncirculated INB Graded
Condition: This item is designated as Brilliant Uncirculated, indicating it has never entered general circulation and retains its original mint luster with no signs of wear on the high points of the design. The coin is struck at the Philadelphia Mint (P mint mark) on a copper-nickel composition planchet consisting of 75% copper and 25% nickel. It features the "Ocean in View! O! The Joy!" reverse design, which was part of the 2005 Westward Journey Nickel Series commemorating the bicentennial of the Lewis and Clark Expedition reaching the Pacific Ocean. The obverse displays the Joe Fitzgerald rendition of Thomas Jefferson. This specimen is a business strike type and comes protected in a slab from the International Numismatic Bureau (INB).
