TWO LADIES WIDE-BRIM HATS - BURNT ORANGE SINAMAY-STYLE PICTURE HAT AND NATURAL STRAW SUN HAT Two ladies' wide-brim dress hats. The first is a burnt orange picture hat in a sheer open-weave stiffened fiber of the sinamay type, with a shallow rounded crown, a downturned brim that dips at the sides, and a very large flat self-fabric bow with long looped tails sweeping across the brim, the interior fitted with a thin woven sweatband and a small white tag. The second is a natural straw sun hat in a fine tight plaited weave with a tall tapered crown, a broad flat brim, and a large ivory fabric rose with pale green shading applied at the brim front, the interior fitted with a white grosgrain sweatband carrying a printed label reading "MADE IN PHILIPPINES / 100% NATURAL STRAW / RN#58909". Neither hat carries a maker or brand name in the photographs. Condition is used with light dust and faint soiling on the straw hat's sweatband and brim underside, minor fiber irregularity and slight brim waviness typical of woven straw and sinamay, a few loose straw ends visible along the straw brim, and light creasing on the ivory fabric flower petals. A gentle steam and reshaping by a milliner is the safe route for any waviness rather than ironing or wetting at home.
