Fender Fuzz Wah guitar effects pedal, manufactured in Fullerton, California, circa the early 1970s. The unit features a dual-function design housed in a polished chrome-plated metal chassis with a rocking treadle for wah-wah control. The top of the pedal is fitted with a black ribbed rubber grip pad. outboard chrome-plated footswitches are located on the sides of the housing to engage the fuzz and wah effects independently. The side of the chassis includes standard 1/4-inch jacks for instrument and amplifier connections. Marks include a molded script Fender logo with Fullerton, California in block letters on the rubber treadle. Adhesive labels identify the side switches as WAH and FUZZ and label the jacks as AMPLIFIER and INSTRUMENT. The underside features a black and white battery caution label and a smaller label near the rear screw regarding battery replacement. An internal metal structural crossbar is visible on the bottom.
