This 1960 Mexico 20 Centavos is a striking copper coin featuring an incredible display of natural rainbow toning that covers both the obverse and reverse surfaces. The reverse depicts the iconic Sun Pyramid of Teotihuacan with the popocatepetl and ixtaccihuatl volcanoes in the background, topped by a Phrygian cap with rays. The obverse features the Mexican National Emblem, an eagle perched on a cactus with a snake in its beak. This uncirculated copper piece displays deep hues of purple, blue, and orange, making it a highly desirable specimen for collectors of colorful world coinage. The Mo mint mark for the Mexico City Mint is clearly visible above the pyramid. This coin comes housed in a protective 2x2 cardboard flip.

The underlying details of the Liberty cap, sun rays, and the Pyramid of the Sun remain visible, though the heavy oxidation has altered the surface texture. It is a business strike produced by the Mexico City Mint, identified by the "M" mint mark. The metal content is copper. Historically, this series was minted between 1943 and 1974, depicting the iconic Mexican landscape and national emblem. The coin is presented in a protective flip and is ungraded.
