This listing is for one (1) 1896-O Morgan Silver Dollar struck at the New Orleans Mint. This is an authentic 90% silver United States dollar coin in well worn circulated condition. Struck 130 years ago this iconic silver dollar is a genuine piece of Gilded Age American history.

About This Coin: The Morgan Silver Dollar was designed by George T. Morgan and struck from 1878 through 1904 and again in 1921. The obverse features Lady Liberty with crown and flowing hair and the reverse a heraldic eagle with wings spread. The 1896-O was struck at the historic New Orleans Mint with a mintage of approximately 4.9 million coins. At 130 years old this is a genuine piece of American history from the height of the Gilded Age with strong silver bullion value in addition to its collector appeal.
