WWI Imperial German Spandau Gewehr 98 8mm Mauser Rifle (1915). Very Good. 29" Barrel. Shiny Bore, Tight Action Bolt Action . An exceptional, highly desirable example of the definitive Imperial German infantry rifle of World War I, offered in very good condition. Manufactured at the renowned Spandau arsenal during the height of the conflict in 1915, this Gewehr 98 features a 29-inch barrel, a traditional controlled-round-feed cock-on-open bolt action, and a bright, shiny bore. This specimen retains matching serial numbers throughout the metalwork, with the historically common wartime exception of the stock and steel buttplate assemblies.
