Flintlock Musket .75 Caliber with 42 Inch Barrel. This single flintlock musket is a faithful reproduction of the British Short Land Pattern Brown Bess manufactured by Pedersoli in Italy in .75 caliber. The firearm is equipped with a 42-inch bright-finished steel barrel and a full-length wood stock featuring a raised comb. The stock is accented with polished brass furniture, including a brass buttplate, a serpent-style side plate, three brass ramrod pipes, and a brass trigger guard with a decorative finial. A steel ramrod is housed in the channel beneath the forend. The lockplate is engraved with a crown over GR and is marked PRYCE over 1762 at the tail.
