Rough-built pine storage chest with hand-cut plank construction, exposed square and round nails, and a hinged lift lid. Thick board sides and simple nailed joinery give the piece a straightforward utilitarian character, while the worn surface and darkened grain reflect decades of workshop, barn, or general store use. The interior remains open and undecorated.
Weathered, antique condition, but solid and free of major breakage.
