This Ruger New Model Blackhawk revolver is chambered in .45 Cal and features a 4.6" barrel with Ruger’s classic single-action design that has made the Blackhawk one of the most respected revolvers in American shooting history. Finished with a blued steel frame and cylinder, this example retains its original Ruger wood grips, giving it the traditional western appearance collectors and shooters appreciate. Condition is rated as good overall with a shiny finish remaining throughout, though there is noted rust present on the hammer. Introduced in the 1970s, the New Model Blackhawk incorporated Ruger’s transfer-bar safety system, making it safer to carry while maintaining the rugged durability for which the company is known.
