NATIVE AMERICAN INDIAN CARVED BURL WAR CLUB

Northeastern Native American Indian carved burl ball head war club from the 19th Century. This example has a traditional ball head pattern with solid all one piece hand carved construction having a brand with bark on the haft handle having a downward curved root burl ball head. The piece has a dark coloring and deep patina from an honest very early age. The bottom of the gripping area has a drilled hole. The club overall has a dark coloring and shiny patina from honest age and use and polished carved round knob end and polished carved ball head measuring 13 1/4 inches overall.
