ENGLISH BRUNSWICK RIFLE M1837 BAYONET

This bayonet for the Brunswick military rifle M1837. These are kind of a mix between the saber bayonet and an artillery short sword. They have the double edged wide blade like the short swords have but it locks in place on the end of the gun like a saber bayonet. This one has the "Crown E C" arsenal stamp at the Pommel is well marked R L R M 1A. Excellent.
