Ram Paperweight. A stylized ceramic figural paperweight produced by the American Encaustic Tiling Company (AETCO). The piece depicts a recumbent ram or ibex with large, ribbed horns that curve back to meet the animal's haunches, creating a circular negative space. The figure is mounted on a rectangular, two-tiered plinth base featuring a cove-molded lower edge. It is finished in a variegated multi-tone glaze, with a semi-matte olive green on the animal figure and a mottled teal blue crystalline glaze concentrated in the recessed areas and across the tiered base.
