Bicentennial One-Cent Coins, 1963-2009. This collection consists of US Lincoln cents organized into various plastic bags by date. The lot includes coins of the Lincoln Memorial reverse type and the Lincoln Bicentennial reverse type. The bags are handwritten with dates 1963, 1970, 1971, 1979, 1980, 1981, and 2009, along with one bag containing mixed dates. The pre-1982 coins are struck in a bronze alloy consisting of 95 percent copper and 5 percent tin and zinc. The post-1982 coins, including the 2009 series, are struck in copper-plated zinc. The 2009 cents feature various commemorative reverse designs celebrating the Lincoln Bicentennial. All coins feature the obverse portrait of Abraham Lincoln by Victor David Brenner.
